Clinique's mantra is "great skin can be created". After having uni exams I had definitely neglected my skin and it rebelled by looking oily and dull- so my face was a perfect canvas to test this theory. The Facial Soap felt smooth when used and left my face feeling extremely clean, although, the Clarifying Lotion was my favourite product. It was refreshing and by the tingling sensation that I felt, I knew it was working. It felt great to apply the Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion before bed as it was cool and soothing. After two weeks my skin was cleaner, brighter and silky soft. |
I'm not going to lie; I am quite the lazy girl, so 3-steps, twice a day, seemed an awful lot of work compared to my previous skin care regime; but what a disservice I was doing my complexion! Visible improvement was obvious within days of using the treatment and now I'm hooked! Having combination skin, I was slightly hesitant to begin a new skin care range. Honestly, since starting the Clinique 3 step program my skin looks awake! My dry cheeks have retained moisture and my oily problem areas have calmed down significantly. Changing to any new skin care range you are always going to experience some kind of small skin 'break out'. Surprisingly this was minor and lasted only a couple of days! I still have a few small blemishes which I began with, but they are fading significantly. Keeping in mind this 3 Step range is only new to my skin, I really believe with frequent use my skin will continue to clear up and balance out. |
I found you can literally count your way to clearer skin with Clinique's 3-Step Skincare System! After just 2 weeks of using the products my skin feels cleaner and looks clearer. The first step, the Liquid Facial Soap, works well to remove any traces of oil and dirt. It also comes in a pump bottle which I find really handy. Following is the Clarifying Lotion. It works deep in the pores to exfoliate. I was surprised I can actually see the impurities I remove from my skin at the end of they day! Lastly I love the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion because it's light and works perfectly as a primer before applying foundation. |
The Clinque 3-Step Skin Care System really has helped me to achieve supple looking skin. The Clarifying Lotion was non harsh and removed impurities, but it did take a while for my skin to adapt. Persevering through the purging period, I found that the Facial Soap and Clarifying Lotion had reduced my pores as well as the shine in the T zone. The Facial Soap and the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion did not leave me oily or dry, and has made my skin feel really healthy and dewy. It did take time but the 3-Step system definitely can 'create great skin'. |
After using the Clinique 3 Step Skin Care System, I almost gave up after a week and a half of using the product as I wasn't use to breakouts. I pushed through the uncomfortable blemishes and continued to use it, and after 3 weeks of using the Clinique 3 Step I can now say I will use this for the rest of my life. My skin is soft, and smooth and has no visible pores. I would definitely recommend this product as I already have to my family and friends. |
As someone whose skin isn't always blemish-free, I tend to approach multi-step skincare regimes with some caution as I never know how my skin is going to react. I like the fact that Clnique's 3 Step Skin Care System is tailored to my skin type, which is fairly oily and prone to break out. The cleanser and Clarifying Lotion leave my skin feeling beautifully clean, and I really enjoy how light the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel is. Over the first week or so my skin did break out a little, but it is now looking and feeling great. The 3 Steps really don't add much time to my routine - it's definitely something I am going to stick with! |
I would recommend the Clinique 3-Step System to anyone who wants to take care of oily skin. Apart from the fresh feeling that the Facial Soap brings and the glowing skin uncovered by the Clarifying Lotion, what really impressed me was definitely the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. As I have discovered over the past two weeks it is possible to moisturise oily skin for a matte result without the shiny patches. My frustrating experience with other brands has made me reluctant to use moisturisers, however the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel is a great hydrating skin conditioner that really does absorb surface oils and is relatively long wearing. |

The Mild Liquid Facial Soap is effective in taking my makeup off gently while the Clarifying Lotion is refreshing and tingled when I first started using it, also making my skin act like a sponge - to soak the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion right up! With Clinique's 3-Sep System I had to persevere past the breakout stage but any breakouts I had healed up quickly.
